The Collection of Art of the Vytautas the Great War Museum contains approximately 1,500 exhibits: paintings, sculptures, applied art, and graphics. The painting \u201cVytis\u201d by painter Petras Kalpokas, which was purchased in 1921, was the first exhibit not only of the Collection of Art but also of the Museum itself. The collection is abundant in the works of art dedicated to the commemoration of the Fights for Independence; it also contains the portraits of Lithuanian officers from the interwar period.
